My Field of Study Studying in Cégep Saint-Laurent in Pure and Applied Sciences, I am thinking about a job linked at this field of study. I think of being a teacher in physics or mathematics. 24 Hours of Work for a Teacher The largest part of teachers work in an elementary or high school.   They teach a certain field of study or are assigned at students of a certain age. In advance of their course, they need to prepare a specific program adapted to their students’ capacity. Because classes starts early, teachers need to get the attention of every student, even the one with sleep deprivation. Being funny can generate interest for the people having difficulty maintaining attention in class. Even if the children or teenagers in the classroom find the subject boring, having the capacity to develop their interest for the course is an art and is a great honour for the teacher in front. There is at our school, many fields of studies you can study in. In Cégep de St-Laurent, the school I am going to, people can take the choice of Pure and Applied sciences as I did. This program of two year gives you the option to continue in this path for University. It has science courses as chemistry, mathematics and physics in addition to the basic courses. Knowing that the courses are far from being the easiest one, some websites can be very useful for performing and getting good grades in those courses. 1. Understand what you are studying with some definitions. Not knowing a word can easily stop you from studying. A rich vocabulary is needed to understand the subject transmitted by the teacher. ThoughtCo. and its glossary helps a lot for studying and doing homework in chemistry. Its article titled A to Z Chemistry Dictionary includes all the words you know for a college level of chemistry, and even more.
